The Christmas Day holiday affects the schedule of many local businesses and services, including the curbside pickup of garbage and recycling in Mountlake Terrace and Brier.
Waste Management will be picking up garbage and recycling one day later this week in the area; instead of the usual Wednesday pickup, all collections will be done on Thursday.
A similar schedule will be in effect next week too; because of the New Years’ Day holiday, all Mountlake Terrace and Brier pickups of garbage and yard waste will be done on Thursday, Jan. 3, instead of Wednesday, Jan. 2.
