From Lynnwood Today: Waterfront building near Scriber Creek Park goes up in flames Wednesday

An office building at 20016 Cedar Valley Road went up in flames Wednesday afternoon. The two-story waterfront building near Scriber Creek Park houses law, medical and mortgage offices, among others.

KIRO 7 is reporting firefighters received the call around 2:48 p.m. and the building was fully engulfed by the time they arrived. No one was reported hurt.

Crews from Fire Districts 1 and 7, and Shoreline Fire, were called in for backup.

The cause remains under investigation. No word yet on the extent of damage, although it appears to be severe. Check back for new information as it becomes available.
