Work crews will be back to complete work on the 220th Street Southwest and 236th Street Southwest I-5 freeway overpasses and ramps over the next 10 days on what represents the final touches to a $3.62 million Washington State Department of Transportation project began in May 2013.

The freeway repaving and improvement project was nearly finished last fall, but some minor overlay and curbing work is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.

Work hours are set for the overnight hours of 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday evening through Friday morning. While no detours are scheduled, there may be some lane closures, Mountlake Terrace city officials said.

The work is “very weather dependent,” officials said; any bad weather may delay the completion of the project.
