The City of Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks Department announced on Tuesday that free wireless internet service is now available at the Recreation Pavilion.
Wi-Fi is short for wireless fidelity, and enables Pavilion customers with wireless enabled laptop computers, tablets or smart phones to access the internet while in the facility. The service allows guests to stay connected to home or work and easily check email or surf the web on the go, making the Recreation Pavilion more functional for families and providing a higher level of customer service to all visitors, city officials said.
“We are pleased to provide this new Wi-Fi service at the Pavilion. Our primary goal is to provide excellent customer service, and an unparalleled experience at the Recreation Pavilion,” said Jeff Betz, Recreation Director. “We have had numerous requests for internet access from our customers. Guests will now be able to use Wi-Fi for their basic daily tasks, like checking email or surfing the web, for free.”
The Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion at 5303-228th Street SW is open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesday; 6 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; 6 a.m.-7:15 p.m. on Fridays; 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturdays; and 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sundays.
