According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), the single best way to protect you and your family from influenza is to receive a “flu shot” each year. The CDC recommends that EVERYONE, over six months of age, should be vaccinated against the flu.

All uninsured and underinsured community members will have the opportunity to receive a no-cost seasonal influenza vaccine. Individuals with insurance coverage, including Apple Health are welcome as well, and in those instances, SVNA will bill insurance plans directly with no out-of-pocket cost to the recipient.
