There has been quite a hub-bub over bikini baristas lately, especially in Snohomish County. So much that some city councils have taken action to prevent them from popping up. As far as I know we don’t have any bikini baristas in Mountlake Terrace but there is one right across the street from Urban City Coffee Lounge (one of our sponsors!) in Lynnwood at 44th/212th.
When I saw the ad on craigslist last week asking for bikini bartenders, I suspected that this was the place and I was right.
Bikini bartenders are now featured at Johnny Spuds and Sahara Pizza in Mountlake Terrace from 9:30-close every night.
I’ll leave the commentary for the comments.
I noticed a sign outside their door that mentioned this a couple of days ago. I live very close to them. I won't go as far as to say they shouldn't do this, everyone has the right to do what they think is best, but I certainly won't be a patron. I have the same opinion on the bikini baristas, I don't agree with this tactic to drive business, but then again, I'm not a guy. If businesses think this helps sales, fine. But I imagine there are other women, mothers, families that are driven away by this strategy than men that are attracted by it. Same can be said for same sex marriage, abortion, medical marijuana, etc. If you don't approve, don't participate. Done.

The funny thing is when I drive by this place to go grocery shopping all I see is creepy vans and motorcycles up there. They sometimes are out of the car looking into the window. This is why Im glad this place is gone, get the nasty pervs who cant get a date go somewhere else. Go to a strip club you weirdos or better yet porn is free online everywhere. Its not the bikini girls thats wrong with that place it was the pathetic freaks it attracted.
