For those of you who frequent 236th street you’ve probably noticed that Forest Crest Playfield has recieved a makeover! The finishing touch, a new sign.
The project was the installation of the concrete sign base and the inserts then the removal of old wooden signs. The City completed the sign at the Ballinger Boat and Fishing access as well as the one at Forest Crest just recently. The City has been replacing wooden ID signs throughout the park system and these were the last two for the parks.
Currently, the City is working on getting two other concrete sign installations. One to replace the wood entry sign at the Recreation Pavilion (5303 228th St SW) and a new City Entry Sign on Cedar Way at the intersection of 244th.
