Five remain in competition for Terrace Idol

The final competition is set for this year’s Terrace Idol following Thursday night’s semi-finals at the Mountlake Terrace High School Theater.

Moving on to the finals are Abby Martinez and Auryana Ashoori, both from Lynnwood High School, and Seniet Zerom, Katy Bodner and Lucas Pope of Mountlake Terrace High School. The five were chosen from among 10 hopefuls by the evening’s judges, Edmonds School District music teacher Frank Blosser, former American Idol contestant Mackenzie Thomas and Seattle R&B/Hip Hop/Soul artist Michael “TeeWanz” Wansley.

The final round of Terrace Idol is set for Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. in the MTHS Theater. Admission is $5

Terrace Idol is a fundraiser for the MTHS Class of 2013.
