Fire District 1 fire calls, week of Nov. 12-18


Fire District 1Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 542 calls Nov. 12-18: 345 emergency medical aid calls, 44 motor vehicle collisions, 45 fires, 68 service calls, 3 natural gas leaks, 2 hazardous materials calls and 35 automatic fire alarms.

Nov. 16
COLLISION: At 3:33 p.m., two cars were involved in a T-bone collision in the 22200 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. One person was injured and transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION: At 6:56 p.m., a car struck a pedestrian in the 22000 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. Firefighters transported the injured pedestrian to Harborview Medical Center.

Nov. 17
CAR FIRE: At 5:11 a.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire in the 4700 block of 142nd Place SW in Edmonds. No one was injured. Damage is estimated at $10,000.

COLLISION: At 7:16 a.m., a three-car collision was reported at 44th Avenue W and 212th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. One person was transported by firefighters to an area hospital.

COLLISION: At 3:03 p.m., a two-car collision occurred in the 13200 block of Seattle Hill Road north of Mill Creek. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.

COLLISION: At 4:02 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at the southbound I-5 ramp at 44th Avenue W. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

COLLISION: At 5:00 p.m., firefighters responded to southbound I-5 south of I-405 after a tree fell on a car, blocking three lanes of traffic. No one was injured.
