Fire District 1 Calls, week of April 19-25

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 372 calls the week of April 19-25: 302 emergency medical aid calls, 34 motor vehicle collisions, 13 fires, 9 service calls, 1 natural gas leak, 1 technical rescue and 12 automatic fire alarms.

April 21
CAR FIRE:  At 12:30 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire on northbound I-5 north of 164th Street Southwest.

COLLISION:  At 2:55 p.m., a vehicle fled after hitting a pedestrian in the 24100 block of 57th Place West in Mountlake Terrace.  Firefighters transported in the injured pedestrian to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.

COLLISION:  At 4:53 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room after responding to a two-car, head-on collision at 14th Place West and 164th Street Southwest east of Lynnwood.

April 22
COLLISION:  At 12:49 a.m., a high-speed, two-car collision was reported on southbound SR 525 east of Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. Both cars went off the road. Firefighters transported one driver to Harborview Medical Center and the other driver to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

TRUCK FIRE:  At 4:09 a.m., firefighters extinguished a semi-truck engulfed in flames in the 100 block of 128th Street Southwest south of Everett.

April 23
COLLISION:  At 8:01 a.m., a truck struck a utility pole in the 14700 block of 60th Avenue W east of Everett. Firefighters transported the injured driver to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

COLLISION:  At 2:14 p.m., a two-car collision occurred at 128th Street Southwest and 4th Avenue West south of Everett.  Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.
