Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 387 calls the week of Dec. 16-22: 321 emergency medical aid calls, 21 motor vehicle collisions, 14 fires, 12 service calls, 12 automatic fire alarms, two carbon monoxide alarms, four natural gas leaks and one hazardous materials response.

December 16
PEDSTRIAN HIT BY CAR. At 4:44 p.m., an elderly woman was hit by a car at 183rd St. SW and North Road east of Lynnwood. She was transported by medics to Harborview Medical Center where she died from her injuries.
DUMPSTER FIRE. At 9:17 p.m., firefighters extinguished a Dumpster fire at Firdale Village in Edmonds.
COLLISION. At 11:14 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 148th St. SW and Highway 99 north of Lynnwood.
December 17
COLLISION. At 5 p.m., firefighters responded to a hit-and-run collision involving two cars in the 12300 block of Highway 99 south of Everett. One patient was transported to Swedish/Edmonds.
COLLISION. At 7:14 p.m., a car crashed into a utility pole and toppled a tree in the 20700 block of Larch Way north of Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported the driver to Harborview Medical Center.
December 19
COLLISION. At 12:46 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision on the ramp from southbound SR 525 to Alderwood Mall Parkway north of Lynnwood.
COLLISION. At 10:34 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car head-on collision at Edmonds Way and Highway 99 in Edmonds. Medics transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds.
COLLISION. At 11:18 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a car that crashed into a parked vehicle at 148th St. SW and 35th Ave. W north of Lynnwood.
December 21
COLLISION. At 7:48 p.m., firefighters transported one patient Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a three-car collision at Airport Road and E. Gibson Road south of Everett.
December 22
COLLISION. At 7:03 a.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 220th St. SW and I-5 in Mountlake Terrace.
CAR FIRE. At 6:12 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire at 204th St. SW and Poplar Way north of Brier.
