Feb. 28 last day for free ORCA cards, refill at Roger's

February is the last month to get a blank ORCA card for free. Starting March 1, ORCA cards will have a $5 fee.

ORCA (One Regional Card for All) is the electronic fare-payment system adopted by Community Transit, King County Metro, Sound Transit, Everett Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit and the Washington State Ferries. ORCA cards allow customers to travel and transfer seamlessly between agencies without having to use different passes, tickets and transfers.

Also, Roger’s Marketplace in Mountlake Terrace is the newest retail location to refill your ORCA card. I know a lot of people catch the bus aroun 232nd/56th as well as the Transit Center on 236th so it wil be very convenient to add funds to your ORCA card by stopping by Roger’s. You can also get a new ORCA card or add funds to an existing card at OrcaCard.com

  1. Awesome we can refill at Roger’s. With Lynnwood PR not in walking distance it’s great to have such a convenient option even though they’re “uncommuting” our buses in June. I think Roger’s is underutilized and should be recognized as the closest thing we have to the much vaunted and invisible town square.
