(Photo by Andy Nagle)Congratulations to Mike Allende (My Edmonds News reader) and Marcia Ridley (Lynnwood Today), winners of two tickets in last week’s Beatles trivia contest. We also are pleased to announce that readers will have two chances to win tickets this week, with two new trivia questions.

The answer to last week’s question – Who recorded the single “Ringo I Love You?” and who produced it– is Paul McCartney. Many people had the correct answers —  Cher’s first solo recording was the novelty single “Ringo, I Love You”, released under the pseudonym “Bonnie-Jo Mason” and was produced by Phil Spector  – so the winners were chosen at random. Each of our winners receives two tickets to to the musical retelling of the Beatles story – “In My Life” – at the Edmonds Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. June 4. All winners will have tickets waiting in their names at the ECA Box Office.

Twice each week during the month of May, you can test your Beatles trivia by answering the weekly question in the comment section below. Two correct answers will be drawn every Wednesday and Saturday to win a pair of tickets to the June 4 concert. The Wednesday winner will be announced Saturday. Good luck!

Here’s the new question:

How many Beatles recordings have only one Beatle on the recording, and what are they?

“In My Life” is the musical retelling of the Beatles story through the eyes of manager Brian Epstein and featuring the live music of renowned tribute band Abbey Road. The production – scheduled for June 4 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts – includes multimedia, period costumes and vintage instruments.
