Although I enjoy seeing fireworks, the noise really bothers my husband, a Korean War veteran. When he was younger, it didn’t seem to–we took our son to the fireworks in Edmonds every year! Now, however, it is a different story, and some years are worse than others.

I wish our Mountlake Terrace police were more pro-active about stopping the many, MANY offenders who, year after year, break our city’s fireworks ban law!!
