Erin Murray maintained her lead Wednesday over Crystal Gamon in the latest vote count to determine who will fill the open seat on the Mountlake Terrace City Council.

In the second day of results released by the Snohomish County Elections Office, Murray had 70.21% of the votes cast (1,454 votes) for the open position 7 seat while Gamon earned 29.16% (604 votes).

In races for Edmonds School District Board of Directors, all three candidates who were in the lead Tuesday — incumbents Carin Chase and Gary Noble, and Nancy Katims, running for an open seat — continued Wednesday to maintain a significant edge over their opponents.
