Election 2015: Noble ahead in Edmonds School Board race; Lovick, Somers battling for Snohomish County Executive

Edmonds School District Board Member Gary Noble was running comfortably ahead of his two challengers in the District 3 race.

Noble had 60 percent of the vote (7,835) and was followed by Mary Murphy with 24 percent (3,115) and Mark Norton with 14 percent (1,857).

In the race for Snohomish County Executive, incumbent Democrat John Lovick was leading Snohomish County Council Member Dave Somers, also a Democrat. Lovick has 33 percent (19,928), while Somers was second with 31 percent (19,032). Republican Robert Sutherland was third with 26 percent (16,009).

The top two finishers in the primary advance to the General Election. The next update of results will be on Wednesday.
