The Edmonds School District Community Relations office on Wednesday morning sent a phone message out to families regarding the lockdown and closure of nearby Shoreline Public Schools. Shoreline released all students Wednesday morning as “police continue to search for an allegedly armed man who had been on one of their school’s campuses,” the district announcement said.
“There is no immediate threat to any of our Edmonds School District schools,” the announcement said. “Our schools nearest the King County line are taking precautionary measures and are on alert due to this situation.”
