Edmonds School District Superintendent Nick Brossoit will make a presentation and be available for questions during a Replacement Technology/Capital Levy Information Night to be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave., on the Edmonds waterfront.
The event is being hosted by the 32nd District Democrats, which is sponsoring the meeting as a public service, said organizer Alicia Crank.
Voters living within the Edmonds School District are being asked to consider a replacement technology/capital improvements levy during the special election season. The measure will appear on the Feb. 9, 2016 ballot.
Ballots were mailed to voters on Thursday, Jan. 21. You can see a sample ballot here. You can learn more on the Edmonds School District levy webpage.
The four-year, $59-million measure will replace the 2012 voter-approved measure that is expiring in 2016.
