The Edmonds Public Schools & Alumni Foundation on Monday announced a new name, the Foundation for Edmonds School District.
The name comes out of the foundation’s merger with the Edmonds School District Alumni Association and the desire to more clearly connect the foundation with its beneficiary, the Edmonds School District, said Executive Director Deb Anderson. The foundation is also introducing new branding with the tagline, “Shaping Students’ Futures,” designed to convey the foundation’s mission.
“The rebranded Foundation for Edmonds School District is a vital part of the district and a strategic way for the community to align and partner with us in helping students,” said Superintendent Nick Brossoit. “The new logo and name captures the spirit and reinforces the vibrant, dynamic and dedicated nature of the foundation.”
For over 30 years, the Foundation for Edmonds School District has supported students, teachers and schools by putting money they raise where it enhances student learning the most – directly into schools and classrooms. With an all-volunteer board and active community participants, the foundation has successfully provided Edmonds School District with a dynamic partnership in educating our children.
The Foundation for Edmonds School District is co-located in the Edmonds School District offices at 20420 68th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036. For more information, call 425-431-7260 or visit www.foundationesd.org.
