From our friends at My Edmonds News:
This year, Edmonds public schools are facing significant state budget cuts that will impact classroom learning. In an effort to offset some of these reductions, the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation is hosting its annual Spring Luncheon at Lynnwood High School, “A Recipe for Success,” on Friday, March 18 at Lynnwood High School.
Featured guests include local chef and author Greg Atkinson, plus keynote speaker, Snohomish County Deputy Prosecutor Adam Cornell. Chef Atkinson will be at the luncheon to autograph copies of his new cookbook “Northwest Essentials.”
Individual luncheon tickets are $40, or $400 for a table of 10. You can pre-order Atkinson’s book for $25 (50 percent of book proceeds go to the Foundation) and it will be available for pickup at the luncheon. To learn more, visit the Foundation website.
