Edmonds man involved in Terrace bar fight still in intensive care

By Doug Petrowski

The Edmonds man involved in a bar brawl outside O’Houlie’s Pub in Mountlake Terrace earlier this month is still in intensive care at Harborview Medical Center, listed in serious condition, 10 days after the incident.

Chris Patterson suffered severe head trauma and multiple face and skull fractures after being involved in a fight allegedly involving four other men in the early morning hours of Oct. 4. Patterson was listed in critical condition after arriving at Harborview. He was upgraded to serious condition the following day, but there has been little change since then.

Two Mountlake Terrace men, Jesse Bratsch, 22, and Bryan Scott, 21, were arrested and booked into Snohomish County Jail in Everett on first-degree assault charges after the incident. They have since been released on bail and are awaiting their next court date.

Although all five men involved in the incident sustained injuries, only Patterson remains hospitalized. No other criminal charges have been filed at this point.
