Early election results show Sound Transit 3 passing

Sound Transit 3 is passing, with 51.58 percent of votes approving the measure that will expand light rail from Lynnwood to Everett.

Nearly 60 (59.68) percent of voters approve a measure that would raise the state’s minimum wage to $13.50 per hour by 2020.

Rep. Rick Larsen (D) is winning with 63.42 percent of votes from Congressional District 2.

Derek Stanford (D) and Shelley Kloba (D) are leading the race for State Rep. District 1, Positions 1 and 2 respectively with 61.74 percent and 56.05 percent of votes, respectively.

Cindy Ryu (D) and Ruth Kagi (D) are leading in the race for State Rep. District 32, Positions 1 and 2 respectively, with 71.76 percent and 67.86 percent of votes.

The next election results update for Snohomish County is expected at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
