Driver of Motorcycle in Accident Expected to Make Full Recovery

The driver of the motorcycle who was seriously injured in an accident last week is expected to fully recover, say members of his family. The accident, which closed lanes of 220th for several hours, occurred when a vehicle turning left on to 66th Ave W from westbound 220th St sW collided with a motorcycle travelling eastbound on 220th St SW.

The extent of the motorcycle drivers injuries include a subarachnoid hemorrhage to his brain, a hairline fracture to his right wrist, torn MCL/ACL in his right knee, a possibly ruptured artery in his leg and he has a spot in his vision from the hemorrhage in his brain leading to his retina.
