Mountlake Terrace Police Department Commander Don Duncan was sworn in to his new post by Police Chief Greg Wilson at the City Council meeting Monday, June 4, before a large audience of city officials, family and friends.

Duncan, a 16-year veteran of the Mountlake Terrace Police Department, was promoted after serving two years as a detective sergeant. He takes over the post formally held by the recently retired Commander Craig McCaul.

Duncan took the oath with his mother, Cora, at his side. He then received his new commander’s badge from his wife Sarah.
