We’ve posted previously about MLT D.O.G.’s efforts to raise money to get a water meter and service installed at the dog park. They have been able to raise the $3,900 to have the new meter installed.

MLT D.O.G. President James Ito has met with City of MLT Parks and Property Management Superintendent Ken Courtmanch to coordinate a combined effort of volunteers and city staff to install the remaining water lines and install the proper drainage. MLT D.O.G. has scheduled a volunteer work party on Thursday, October 29, at the Off Leash Dog Park. The volunteer effort involves digging a trench along the south side of the park prior to installing a water line and faucet. This work will be coordinated with City crews who will connect all pipe fittings and test the system.
