Our local movie theater, Mountlake 9, closed a couple months ago and is now being transformed into a classier venue where you can watch a movie AND get a good meal. They have gutted one of the nine theaters and installed a kitchen as well as removed every other row of seats from the eight other theaters and installed tables to dine on. Cinebarre will feature a full service bar and kitchen that will serve appetizers, entrees and cocktails while you’re watching a feature film. They will even have a large wine selection as well as local micro-brews on tap. Cinebarre will be 18+ unless you are accompanied by your legal guardian.
The arcade games have been removed and instead you will be welcomed by a nice lobby with a bar so don’t expect to find your usual junior mints and sour patch kids. This will be Cinebarre’s fourth location for the company which has theaters in North Carolina, South Carolina and Colorado. Cinebarre opens this Friday, May 29th and we’ll have a review up on MLTnews.com soon after.[mappress]
