There are several development projects in the city that are moving forward.

Work has begun again at the Terrace Creek Overlook development off 236th Street SW. The project includes ten new homes; one additional site will be reserved for an existing property owner to construct a home at a later date. Prices for the new homes will start around $330K for a 3 bed+loft, 2.5 bath, 1608 sf house.

An 75 year old house on a parcel between Albertsons and Urban City Coffee (on 44th just north of 212th) has been demolished. The site is zoned for either commercial or residential, allowing many options. The property owner plans to install a manufactured home on the site.

Work on another project, “La Casa Rene,” which had been taken over by a bank, is now nearly complete. The project, located at 21229 58th Avenue W is comprised of seven condominium units.
