Detectives tentatively identify body found in Sprague’s Pond Wednesday

Lynnwood police detectives have tentatively identified a body that was found in Sprague’s Pond in Lynnwood on Wednesday as a man in his 40s.

Detectives are waiting for a full report from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner before releasing any additional information. The medical examiner took custody of the body after it was removed from the pond by the Edmonds police dive team Wednesday. The medical examiner’s report will include the identity of the man, and his cause and manner of death.

Sprague’s Pond Mini Park is located at 5200 200th St. S.W.
