Democrats lead in all but 1 local race

Democrats hold leads in 5 of the 6 local races in the 1st and 21st State Legislative Districts and the 1st Congressional District.

In the 1st LD State Representative positions Derek Stanford (D) has a 51.4% to 48.6% lead over Dennis Richter (R) and Heidi Munson (R) has a very slim 50.7% to 49.3%, 404 vote lead over MLT resident Luis Moscoso (D).

In the 21st LD, Paul Shin (D) has a large 62% to 38% lead over David Preston (R) for the State Senate while Mary Helen Roberts (D) leads Ed Borey 56% to 44% and Marko Liias (D) leads Elzabeth Scott (R) 53% to 47% in the State Representative positions.

In the 1st Congressional District, Incumbant Jay Inslee (D) leads James Watkins (R) 56% to 44%.

Updated election results will be released Wednesday evening.
