The Nourishing Network is a weekend meal program for homeless and low-income families in the Edmonds School District. Four hundred homeless students may go hungry over the weekend. Districtwide, approximately 7,500 students receive free and reduced-cost meals. Often these hungry students leave school Friday and do not have another meal until Monday morning.

For over 30 years, the Foundation for Edmonds School District has partnered with the district to support their teachers and their collective efforts to help students to reach their personal, creative and academic potential.

North Sound Church, located at 4th and Bell in downtown Edmonds, was founded in 2003. “We love being involved in the Edmonds community” says Lead Pastor Barry Crane. “We are very excited about partnering with the Foundation for Edmonds School District this Christmas season to help make sure that children in our area have enough food to eat.”
