From the people who put on the Haunted Nightmare at the Nile every Halloween, love and horror come together in a most convenient way this year at the Nile.

Valentine’s Day is preceded by Friday the 13^th and the Scream Team at Haunted Nightmare at the Nile couldn’t resist the opportunity to celebrate. Join them for an all-ages Valentine’s Day masquerade ball unlike any other starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Nile Shrine Golf Center.

Costumes are optional, but encouraged, as cupids, devils, and heart munching zombies will surely rule the night. A no host bar featuring bloody good drink specials will be available for those 21 and over (ID required) as well as a fine spread of free appetizers courtesy of various Shriner and Masonic youth groups.

Nationally recognized body painter Dutch Bihary of Contours FX (and featured on GSN’s Skin Wars) will be hosting a body art contest featuring SFX makeup artists and body painters alike. Plus, DJ Deadbeat of Scare Productions (producers of the ever popular Nightmare at Beaver Lake haunted attraction in Sammamish), will get your heart pumping with an evening of bone-chilling, spine-tingling dance beats.

Tickets are now on sale through Eventbrite for just $10 ($20 at the door, though space is limited).

The event will take place in the main ballroom at the Lodge of the Nile Shrine Golf Center located adjacent to I-5 off Exit 177 – 6601 244^th St. SW Mountlake Terrace.
