“The Code Enforcement Program continues to aggressively seek voluntary compliance to alleviate the negative effects of nuisance properties on the community. These statistics reveal that Mountlake Terrace continues to be a safe community that receives a high level of police services and is reflective of the strong leadership from the police department that includes a visible presence from police patrol in the community, a high clearance rate by our detective and investigation unit, innovative programs such as a domestic violence unit, electronic home monitoring program, community service program, citizen’s academy and a proactive code enforcement program.”
