The Concern for Neighbors Food Bank in Mountlake Terrace is in need of food and cash donations.
The food bank currently serves an average of more than 200 households per week. The Concern for Neighbors Food Bank has its own warehouse, two trucks and two shipping containers for storage and approximately 60 volunteers. It is a member of the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition.
The food bank accepts donations on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 – 11:30 a.m. and distributes food on Tuesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. The food bank also is open for food distribution on Tuesday between 5-6:00 p.m. by appointment only.
Volunteer truck drivers with good driving records are needed as well as those who can ride along to help load. The food bank also needs volunteers to regularly pick up donated food from local markets.
