Computer Error Causes Late Notices on Utility Bills

You may have recently received a utility bill from the city of Mountlake Terrace with a past due balance. Apparently a “computer error” caused around 1,400 Mountlake Terrace utility customers to recieve past due notices on their bill event thought the customers were current. The city is in the process of reconciling the accounts and new bills will be sent out soon.
