Community Transit modifies Saturday schedule for Seattle marathon

community transit logoCommunity Transit has altered its schedule for routes 510 and 511 for this Saturday, June 22, due to the running of the Rock ‘n Roll Marathon in Seattle. Route 510 and 511 buses operate between Seattle and Everett with a stop at the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center.

Southbound trips of route 510 and 511 will serve stops on Stewart Street at Yale, 9th and 7th Avenues in downtown Seattle up until 10 a.m. A northbound stop has been added at Olive Way and Terry Avenue up until 10 a.m.

After 10 a.m., southbound trips will serve all bus stops except the last stop at 5th Avenue South and South Jackson Street; a temporary stop will serve in its place at 5th Avenue South and South Washington Street. For northbound trips after 10 a.m., routes 510 and 511 will utilize a Metro bus stop at South Jackson Street and 4th Avenue South, then travel north on 4th Avenue to their regular routes.

After 2:30 p.m. both routes will resume their regular stops and schedule.
