Community Transit is hoping to reopen a Route 130 bus stop on eastbound 236th Street Southwest near the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center sometime during the week of July 8-12.
The stop has been closed since June 12 due to WSDOT construction on the 236th Street overpass at I-5. Community Transit has been advising riders on Route 130 to board buses at a stop located on 236th Street SW immediately west of 58th Avenue West or at Bay 1 of the transit center.
The construction work is part of a bigger project that is improving I-5 ramps, sidewalks and curbs at 220th, 236th and 244th Streets Southwest in Mountlake Terrace. I-5 itself will be repaved later this summer between the King-Snohomish County line and 52nd Avenue West in Lynnwood.
