Clothes For Kids invites the community to join them Saturday, May 21 from 6 pm – 10 pm for their second annual “Sip into Spring” fundraising event. The event will be held at Arista Wine Cellars and C’est La Vie, 320 5th Avenue South in Edmonds. Ticketsare $40 per person and may be purchased at www.clothesforkids.org. All guests must be 21 and older. Your ticket price includes wine tasting (donated by Chandler Reach Wines) and appetizers. A silent auction and raffle will also be held throughout the evening. Thanks to a sponsorship from Windermere Snohomish, all expenses have been covered and 100% of ticket sales will directly benefit Clothes For Kids.
Clothes For Kids has been serving Snohomish County since 1984, as a non-profit organization providing wardrobes for low-income families. Last year the organizationserved more than 5,200 children. “Funds raised through special events like “Sip intoSpring” helps to ensure that we are ready to serve students for back to school shopping in August” said Nancy Laird-Burris, Program Manager for Clothes For Kids.
“We operate on a shoe-string budget, it is through our generous supporters thatwe are able to continue to grow our services and meet the needs of even more children”, added Rob Schwertley, Clothes For Kids Board President. Community support has been greater than ever before as Clothes For Kids enters its 27th year of serving students.
