In honor of its 40th anniversary, The Keg Steakhouse and Bar is donating $1,000,000.00 in grants of $25,000.00 each to 40 community-based projects or initiatives. Clothes for Kids is honored to be one of the five finalists for our area – and we can only win with your help.
The online voting began on May 16 and runs through June 14. Clothes For Kids is currently in the lead, but voting in this type of competition usually increases as the dead line approaches. Only the help of our community will enable us to receive this generous grant.
“This would be the largest single infusion of cash in our history and will allow us to continue providing the very best to our clients,” according to Program Manager Nancy Laird-Burris. “We expect we will serve more students than ever in the 2011-2012 school year as we expand our reach into Snohomish County.”
To vote, go to The Keg Steakhouse website at www.thekegthanksamillion.com and search for Clothes for Kids. Remember to vote every day until June 14.
