Clifford Burkey Exhibit Opens May 1


The Mountlake Terrace Arts Commission presents the Clifford Burkey Exhibit at the Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 58th Avenue West. Burkey, a
Seattle resident, paints beautiful watercolors with special techniques he developed to bring out the intensity and vibrancy of color that is typical of his work.

Burkey has garnered several awards as a regular participant in competitive shows. He is a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and an active member and former President of Seattle Co-Arts. Burkey is represented by The Main Street Gallery in Lake Chelan and the Seahurst Gallery in Burien, Washington. He shows his work in many local galleries in the Seattle area and his work is included in many corporate collections.

Burkey’s award winning paintings embody bold color and depth of feeling, expressing his passion for life and for painting what he feels.

The Clifford Burkey exhibit runs through May 31 at the Mountlake Terrace Library, Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays, 1 to 5 p.m.
