MLT to host ‘Civic Center 101’, Coffee with City this week

The City of Mountlake Terrace is offering residents and business owners two opportunities to interact with city officials on important issues of the community next week.

On Tuesday, Feb. 12, “Civic Center 101” will be presented at the Recreation and Parks Advisory Commission meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. The presentation will cover information regarding the city’s proposed civic center, a photo tour of the current police station, and an opportunity for attendees to provide input and ask questions of city officials. The meeting takes place at the Recreation Pavilion, 5303-228th St. S.W.

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, city officials will gather for an hour of conversation concerning the latest happenings around Mountlake Terrace. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, provide input, or just listen to the discussion. “Coffee with the City” takes place 6-7 p.m. at the center court room of the Recreation Pavilion.
