City says thanks to MLT boards/commissions volunteers

Mountlake Terrace Mayor Jerry Smith (far left) and members of the city council honored volunteer board and commission members for their service prior to the council’s Nov. 14 work/study session at Interim City Hall. The City of Mountlake Terrace operates five boards and one subcommittee charged with advising the council in such areas as city planning, recreation and parks, community policing, arts and the library. Members are city residents appointed to serve on the various boards and commissions for terms of up to four years.
