City of MLT to release results of community satisfaction survey Thursday

City of MLT logoResults from a city satisfaction survey will be presented at the Mountlake Terrace City Council work/study session on Thursday, March 13, 7bp.m. at Interim City Hall, 6100-219th St. S.W., #200.

The Community Satisfaction Survey collected responses from 1,200 randomly selected households in Mountlake Terrace concerning city services and quality of life issues last fall.

City officials said that the survey results help councilmembers prepare for a goal-setting retreat that will be scheduled soon. The results also assist in determining how resources should be allocated with a focus on balancing priorities and improving services, officials said.

This is the fourth time the city has conducted the survey, done in partnership with The National Citizen program; previous surveys were conducted in 2007, 2009 and 2011. City officials plan to use results from prior surveys to compare trends and deviations in residents’ attitudes and opinions concerning city operations.

The previous survey results are available on the city’s website.
