The City of Mountlake Terrace will have a community reception for the public to meet the finalists on Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m. at the Ballinger Lake Clubhouse, 23000 Lakeview Drive. On Saturday, May 14, the City Council will conduct final interviews at a special meeting.
The selection of a new City Manager could happen as early as Saturday following the final interviews.
The final three candidates were announced during last week’s City Council meeting. They are Jill Anderson, city manager of Riverbank, Calif.; Richard Leahy, who was the city manager of Woodinville from 2007 until July 2015; and Scott Hugill, who is currently the interim city manager for Mountlake Terrace.
Following that selection last week, the Mountlake Terrace Police Guild presented a vote of no confidence in Hugill.
