The Mountlake Terrace Business Association will host a luncheon with City Manager Arlene Fisher on Sept. 17 in the Mountlake Terrace Council Chambers at the Interim City Hall.
The fee for the luncheon, which will be from 11:30-1 p.m. is $7 per person. Fisher has six months under her belt as the City Manager. She will share the City’s financial forecast, economic development plans, and speak about the challenges of the city’s new direction while keeping with the traditions that Mountlake Terrace holds.
“The city encourages membership in the Mountlake Terrace Business Association,” said Community Relations Director Virginia Olsen. “This meeting is a good opportunity for the business community to meet their members and the new City Manager and learn more about the city’s Town Center Plan, Main Street Project, and other economic development plans.”
The Mountlake Terrace Business Association is supported by local businesses with networking luncheons and after hours receptions. MLTBA sponsors an annual Job Fair, Back to School Backpacks fundraiser, and this year the association is co- sponsoring the MLT Trunk r Treat event .
