The workshop will be from 8:30-10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 5 at the Interim City Hall Council Chambers, 6100 219th St. SW., Suite 220, Mountlake Terrace.
Staff will introduce the proposed subdivision regulations code amendments and gather input from the development community and other interested persons.
The Subdivision Code Update is needed to deal with changes in state subdivision laws and developments in case law affecting the decision-making process such as extended timeframes for the filing of final plats.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Feb. 9. The item is scheduled for City Council’s Work Session review on Feb. 12 and a public hearing tentatively scheduled for Feb. 17.
