Free citizenship classes begin June 23 at 7pm at the Mountlake Terrace Library. Whether you are just starting to apply for citizenship or already have an interview date, this series of five classes will help prospective citizens prepare for the U.S. Citizenship Test. Taught by a trained volunteer, the classes will offer practice reading, speaking and writing as well as a review of the 100 questions on U.S. history and civics, ten of which will be asked at the interview. Study tips and a manual will also be provided. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required for the five week session.
For more information, please call 425-776-8722 or register in person at the library. The Mountlake Terrace Library is located at 23300-58th Ave W next to the old City Hall.
