Check out the new signs as you check out new books at the Mountlake Terrace Library.

New interior signs erected this month at the library is part of Sno-Isle Libraries effort to standardize signage throughout the district, said Rosy Brewer, the Library’s Managing Librarian.

The new signage hangs above the check-out stations and service desks in the library. There are also new “Rangefinder” signs placed at the ends of book, magazine and resource stacks identifying the category of materials on those shelves.

“Unfortunately there was not sufficient funds this year to get all of the signs that needed replacing, such as the Teen and Children’s sections, so hopefully that is in a future budget,” Brewer said.
