Upgrade work being done to a cell phone tower behind the Mountlake Terrace Police Station is not disrupting normal functions of the police department, city officials report.
The tower is owned by T-Mobile on land leased to the telecommunications company by the city. The work being done is replacing and upgrading antennas on the tower, said Mountlake Terrace City Manager John Caulfield.
Permits allow T-Mobile until August to complete the project, “though it is likely to be completed sooner than that,” Caulfield said.
