The Mountlake Terrace Arts Advisory Commission will present the Cee Lambert Exhibit at the Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300-58th Ave. W., during the month of March. Lambert specializes in seascapes of the Pacific Northwest, elegant floral work and vibrant, colorful still life. She is also a pet portrait specialist.
Lambert was educated in Utah, California and Washington State where she now lives and works out of her studio in Lynnwood. She is the recipient of several awards and has twice been featured as a cover artist for Signature Magazine for the Arts.
“Through my art I try to create memorable images that ‘work.’ I enjoy the discipline and tradition of a representational painting style,” said Lambert. “I offer affordable art painted in a traditional style. I also participate regularly in art walks in Wallingford, Edmonds and other nearby communities,” she added.
Lambert offers comprehensive art classes in her studio for children and adults, beginners and intermediate students. Her goal is to recreate the beauty that she observes and share that vision with others. She feels that if her art makes people happy, then she has accomplished her goal.
The show runs through March 31 at the Mountlake Terrace Library, Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m.
The Mountlake Terrace Arts Advisory Commission oversees the library exhibits as part of its mission to promote cultural events in the community.
