Jackie Kendall, Cedar Way Elementary School first grade teacher, has been named the Rotary Club of Alderwood-Terrace Educator of the Month for March. The Rotary Club presented her with a $100 gift certificate and a certificate of appreciation during a breakfast event last week.
“Walking into Jackie’s class, you know you are entering an environment of purpose and industry, said Cedar Park Principal Hawk Cramer. “It doesn’t matter when you walk in — during direct instruction, guided instruction, independent practice — kids are on task and working hard to learn and deepen their understand and improve their skills.”
The Rotary Club of Alderwood-Terrace recognizes educators in Mountlake Terrace, Brier and Lynnwood on a regular basis throughout the school year.
